I was lucky enough to win an annual pass in Tiny Tribe’s launch competition, and since then it’s become a firm favourite.
It’s cosy vibes and baby/toddler friendly menu make for a perfect easy afternoon, with plenty of toys to entertain little ones while you enjoy a hot drink and a sweet treat. the minute you walk through the door you get a warm welcome, and the staff are all excellent – It’s clear they are working hard to build a lovely community. Everything is very clean and cosy, and the view out the window in the baby snug is just stunning.

If you’re not tired out after your 2-hour play slot, Thorncliffe Farm Shop is just down the road. We often pop in for something for dinner on the way home, and they have an outdoor playground for children in the summer.
What you need to know:
- Play sessions are at 9:30am, 11:45am and 2pm on most days.
- It costs £3.50 for 0-12 month olds, and £6.75 for toddlers 1-4yrs. Each ticket includes two adults with each child.
- I’d recommend booking in advance as it can get booked up quickly, though they will sometimes take walk-ins on quieter days.
- The Tiny Tribe car park is just across the road from the cafe, we’ve always managed to get a spot but it can get busy! Crossing the road can be a little tricky, especially with little ones as it’s a fast rural road with a blind bend.
- While there is no baby changing in the mens toilet, dads are welcome to use the changing facilities in the ladies.

If you’re looking for a stress-free afternoon with the little ones, I can’t recommend Tiny Tribe enough. You can book your play session via their website or follow their latest updates and community events over on Instagram.
