Where is the best baby changing in Huddersfield? Here’s my favourites:
- Packhorse kitchen (take the lift up to the food court, the baby changing is in the far corner to your right as you come out the lift). Baby changing is in the disabled toilet so you have access to an adult toilet, and it’s accessible to all genders too,
- Byrams (formerly Arcade Coffee) has baby changing, but it’s down a flight of stairs so you’d need to leave the pram in the main cafe and carry baby down. There’s no adult toilet in the same room, but the changing facilities are accessible to all genders.
- Sainsbury’s Shorehead – this one is a bit of a trek, but it’s definitely the best option. It’s clean, spacious and there’s an adult toilet in the same room. It’s a standalone baby changing room so accessible to all genders.
- Lidl Trinity Street – just above the ring road there’s a brand new Lidl which has a single toilet stall, open to all genders and includes a baby changing table. It’s not huge but it’s clean and convenient.
- Greenhead park – another one that isn’t quite in the town center but still handy. The main toilet block is open during the day and has a baby changing facility, though during busy periods eg school holidays it can get pretty grimy. There is also a separate changes places toilet which you need a radar key for.
- Starbucks Leeds Road – it seems like Starbucks are always a safe bet when you’re out and about needing a changing space. Every one I’ve been to is spacious, clean and accessible.
